Shareholder Rights Directive (SRD) II
On December 1, 2019, the European Shareholder Rights Directive II (SRD II) was implemented in Dutch law and came into force. Articles 5:87c and 5:87d of the Financial Supervision Act (WFT) are the anchorage in Dutch legislation. According to these WFT articles, financial institutions that fall under these articles must include a publication on the website about their involvement policy and investment strategy.
