Pension costs
The Heineken Pension Fund incurs costs to administer the pension plan.
By managing and investing all pensions collectively, we aim to keep these costs as low as possible. The costs of administering the pension plan are paid by HEINEKEN. In addition, investment activities involve costs.
Costs of administering the pension plan
HEINEKEN pays the costs of administering your pension. These include:
pension administration and communication;
the costs of the pension fund board; and
the costs of supervision by both internal and external supervisory bodies.
Investment costs
Managing the pension capital also involves costs.
At the end of 2025, the pension fund managed invested assets of €4.84 billion.
Investment costs amounted to 0.71% of average invested assets, of which 0.09% related to transaction costs. Transaction costs are the costs incurred when buying or selling investments.
Costs per participant
The costs of pension administration and investment management together make up the administration costs of the pension fund.
In 2025, these administration costs amounted to €525 per participant.
