Unpaid leave
If you take fully or partly unpaid leave, you may build up less pension or no pension during that period. When you return to work, pension contributions will start again.
What is arranged for you?
If you take parental leave, adoption leave or foster care leave, your pension build-up will not be affected. For other types of unpaid leave, HEINEKEN will inform us about the arrangements you have agreed on. We will adjust your pension build-up accordingly. During unpaid leave, you remain insured for partner's pension and orphan's pension for up to 18 months. You continue to pay the contributions for this cover yourself.
What do you need to do?
You do not need to do anything. HEINEKEN will inform us if you take unpaid leave.

You can find information about your partner’s pension in My Pension and in the Uniform Pension Overview (UPO) that you receive each year.
