Pension during illness and disability

During the first two years of illness, you and your employer continue to pay contributions to the pension plan through your salary.

If you remain ill for more than two years and your employment is terminated due to your illness, the pension fund will continue paying contributions to your pension plan if you become entitled to a WIA disability benefit.

If you are partially disabled, only the part of the pension contribution that corresponds to your percentage of disability will continue to be paid into your pension plan.

This means that, for the portion of your disability, you remain a participant in the pension plan. We will continue to pay contributions towards your:
