Investment returns
We invest the pension contributions paid into the pension plan with the aim of growing pension capital and helping to keep pensions affordable in the future. We also invest as responsibly as possible. This means we want our investments to contribute to a world worth living in.
Investment returns
The return on an investment shows whether that investment has generated a gain or a loss.
For example, an investment may increase in value or generate dividend income. However, investments can also decrease in value. If this happens, the pension capital you have may decrease.
Each year, we look at the average investment result over a twelve-month period running from November to November.
We allocate the investment returns to all personal pension capital accounts. This allocation is made in accordance with rules established by the Board of the Heineken Pension Fund.
These allocation rules are set out in Appendix D of the Pension Regulations.
