Changes to the pension scheme as of 1-1-2024
On July 1, 2023, the Future Pensions Act (Wtp) entered into force. Where possible, we have already brought the current pension scheme in line with the Wtp. We have already adjusted the definitions for 'partner' and 'orphan'. And the pension scheme includes the possibility that you can bring your pension forward to no later than ten years before your state pension age.
Dispatch annual statement 2023 mid-February 2024
The 2023 annual statement will be sent in mid-February 2024. If you receive a pension from us, the annual statement will show how much pension you have received in the past year. And if you retired in 2023, you will receive an annual statement from both Heineken and the pension fund. You will also receive several annual statements if you have income from work in addition to your pension.
Premium 2024
The contributions for the pension schemes may vary from year to year. The board of the Heineken Pension Fund has determined the premiums for the year 2024.The table below shows the premium percentages as of January 1, 2024:
Employer's newsletter new pension system
We are on the way to a new pension system. The employer HEINEKEN has shared a first newsletter explaining why change is necessary, an overview of the steps taken and the next steps, what will remain the same, what is changing, where we are now and it also tells which parties are involved.
Pensions not increased in 2024
We have decided not to increase pensions per January 1, 2024. An increase depends on the following two topics:
