The statutory contribution under the Health Insurance Act (Zvw) increased to 5.7% in 2021. In 2020, it was 5.45%. The Health Insurance Fund (HPF) deducts the income-related Zvw contribution from your gross pension. As a result, your net pension in 2021 will be slightly lower. The maximum amount on which you pay the income-related Zvw contribution has also increased to €58,311. In 2020, it was €57,232. The deduction will therefore change even if your gross pension benefit remains unchanged.
