Please note if you receive surcharges
A higher pension may have consequences for any surcharges you receive. If you receive surcharges, it is important that you report changes in your (pension) income. This can be done via the website of the Tax and Customs Administration (Belastingdienst). You can also find more information about surcharges and changes in your income at the website of the Tax and Customs Administration.
Letter confirming pension in the new pension scheme
In April/May of 2026, we will send everyone a letter with the final pension in the new scheme. If you receive a pension, the letter will also state the amount of your personal benefit.
Payment date remains the 15th of the month
The payment date of the pensions will remain the same as before the switch to the new pension scheme. The 15th of the month.
Personal pension assets move in line with the result of investments
We invest all personal pension assets. Every month, the return is added to the personal pension assets. You can see this in My Pension. Returns can be positive, but also negative. This can also reduce personal pension assets.
Pension benefit adjusted annually
Do you receive a pension? Then it is good to know that the pension benefit is adjusted once a year. You will notice the effect of the adjustment when you make the first pension payment in January of the following year.
The board determines the amount of the pension on the basis of the average results of the investments over a whole year. In addition, we spread investment returns over three years, so that pension benefits remain as stable as possible. To prevent large fluctuations, there is a reserve. With this reserve, we try to prevent decreases in pensions.
